At least once in a lifetime, golfers want to be visitors to a Ryder Cup. When we read on the internet that the 2018 Ryder Cup will be near Paris, it was clear that we would participate in September 2018. One day Ryder Cup and 3 days Paris on foot and bus tours “hop on and hop off” experience.

The Ryder Cup 2018 was held on the venerable “Albatros Course” of the Golf Club Le Golf National in Guyancourt, Île-de-France in France. On this day we walked 100 km across the course to see all the famous American and European nominated players like Tiger Woods, Dustin Johnson, Robert Karlsson or Lee West

What should I tell about Paris?

In 1976 we last visited Paris on foot. The usual tourist places visited, coffee on the Champs Elysse drunk, the Eiffel Tower from all sides photographed and us with, Sacre Coeur, Obelisk, Arc de Triomphe, … Oh yes, the Georges Pompidou did not exist yet, we visited from high above in the double-decker bus. As it was already fresh for the season, we often had to make a stop in one of the numerous bistros and cafés, also shopping was not allowed to be neglected in Paris… And I tell you we found what we were looking for…
